Mircea Ciompec started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augustin Racoviță got free with Viorel Flintașu in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute, Adrian Burtescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, FC Rogerius Oradea's Augustin Racoviță sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Viorel Flintașu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augustin Racoviță got free with Viorel Flintașu in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the match, Juniors Team BUC's goalkeeper Viorel Flintașu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augustin Racoviță. The goalkeeper, Viorel Flintașu, was totally fooled by FC Rogerius Oradea's Pompiliu Bucuță, who 33 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Grigore Filipoiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Grigore Filipoiu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Viorel Flintașu. Juniors Team BUC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Grigore Filipoiu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Grigore Filipoiu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viorel Flintașu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. When Adrian Burtescu fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juniors Team BUC's protests and gave Adrian Burtescu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Juniors Team BUC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Adrian Burtescu hit a great ball. FC Rogerius Oradea's Augustin Racoviță got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Grigore Filipoiu took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Viorel Flintașu. Viorel Flintașu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of Juniors Team BUC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Rogerius Oradea:s goal. In the 80th minute there was a penalty for FC Rogerius Oradea. Pompiliu Bucuță stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Viorel Flintașu. 5-0. Augustin Racoviță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Juniors Team BUC's goal looked a bit too open when Grigore Filipoiu came free, but Viorel Flintașu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 89 played minutes Juniors Team BUC got a freekick which was hit by Iulian Şerbănoiu. Grigore Filipoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Viorel Flintașu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, FC Rogerius Oradea's Augustin Racoviță sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Viorel Flintașu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Augustin Racoviță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juniors Team BUC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
