Iosif Minculescu hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Filip Aldescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Transu FCM's supporters rose to their feet, but Filip Aldescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ionică Lițiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ionică Lițiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciprian Tache, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Anton Liviu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Fabian Ciomag tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sorin Lovinescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute Anton Liviu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Ciomag saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Desnatui CS's Skënder Kadare got a free kick in the 34th minute. After having played for 37 minutes, Ciprian Tache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Transu FCM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciprian Tache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Costică Pârvulescu hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Anton Liviu sped through Transu FCM's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabian Ciomag. In the 45th minute Filip Aldescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionică Lițiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anton Liviu to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Transu FCM's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Liviu came free, but Fabian Ciomag reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sorin Lovinescu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabian Ciomag. Transu FCM's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 71st match minute, Transu FCM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calistrat Mihăileanu to maneuver through the defense. After 73 played minutes, Desnatui CS's Jeremy Foley shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fabian Ciomag came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Desnatui CS reached it. Ciprian Tache could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Ionică Lițiu made a huge save. In the 80th match minute, Transu FCM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudiu Finteșteanu to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Skënder Kadare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Ionuț Jitaru from long distance, 88 minutes into the match, got Ionică Lițiu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.
