But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisc Floroiu couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Sabin Astafiei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Imoasa's supporters rose to their feet, but Sabin Astafiei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicu Condrea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Scarlatesti getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Valentin Enciu hit a great ball. Augustin Mendrea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sabin Astafiei got free with Nicu Condrea in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Scarlatesti's Nicu Condrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustin Mendrea in the 12th minute of play. Petrică Buda kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Scarlatesti's Emil Şoimaru got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Scarlatesti's Nicu Condrea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Scarlatesti from getting a goal against them. Sabin Astafiei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Nicu Condrea made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Sabin Astafiei kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nicu Condrea. That made the score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. When Augustin Mendrea came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Imoasa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augustin Mendrea couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Imoasa's Augustin Mendrea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicu Condrea. That made the score 2-0 after 31 minutes of play. If Emil Şoimaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Scarlatesti's goalkeeper Nicu Condrea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The wind increased when Augustin Mendrea made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Augustin Mendrea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Nicu Condrea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Francisc Floroiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Imoasa's zone, Emil Şoimaru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisc Niculiță came out of the goal and Emil Şoimaru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Emil Şoimaru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francisc Niculiță was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Scarlatesti's Nicu Condrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabin Astafiei in the 61st minute of play. If Sabin Astafiei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Imoasa getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Iustinian Hurmuzescu hit a great ball. Emil Şoimaru charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emil Şoimaru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emil Şoimaru kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Augustin Mendrea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Nicu Condrea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 74 minutes into the match, Scarlatesti's Francisc Floroiu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francisc Niculiță narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Francisc Floroiu came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Scarlatesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisc Floroiu couldn't finish the play. Francisc Floroiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisc Niculiță having to interfere. In the 86th match minute, Imoasa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augustin Mendrea to maneuver through the defense. When Augustin Mendrea got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Imoasa. Scarlatesti's Nicu Condrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabin Astafiei in the 91st minute of play. With a little luck, Imoasa's Francisc Niculiță got control of the ball when Valentin Enciu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Francisc Niculiță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Şoimaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Imoasa's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
