With a little luck, Precopoia's Alex Zăvoiu got control of the ball when Tiberiu Neicu tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tudor Stamate in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alex Zăvoiu saved Precopoia from getting behind. Antônio Carlos dos Santos charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antônio Carlos dos Santos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. FC BTK's Nicodim Pencu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lion Messi in the 22nd minute of play. Alex Zăvoiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tudor Stamate in the 25th minute of the match. Nechifor Tofan hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. The supporters of FC BTK booed when Precopoia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petrică Lung didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the FC BTK defense, Alessandro Addari kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicodim Pencu. The FC BTK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicodim Pencu should have stopped the shot. Alessandro Addari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicodim Pencu having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Precopoia got a freekick which was hit by Pompiliu Tobă. In the 44th minute, Tiberiu Neicu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tudor Stamate was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of FC BTK booed when Precopoia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiberiu Şerban didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute of the match Ion Oprița shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alex Zăvoiu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tudor Stamate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Alex Zăvoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Precopoia's Antônio Carlos dos Santos got his second yellow card of the match in the 68th minute. The referee ordered Antônio Carlos dos Santos off the ground. With his leg Nicodim Pencu managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Precopoia's Lion Messi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 85th minute, Lion Messi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Precopoia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After a rather tough play, Precopoia's Lion Messi got a free kick in the 90th minute. Tiberiu Neicu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to FC BTK getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Luca Vişan hit a great ball.
