Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Fc Catanga's Flavius Frențiu got a free kick in the 4th minute. 8 minutes into the game, Dinu Călimanescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ionică Cupșa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 12 minutes into the match, Fc Catanga's goal looked a bit too open when Dinu Călimanescu came free, but Ionică Cupșa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Marin Milescu clashed with another player. He fell to the ground and was in great pain. It was obvious that he couldn't finish the game. After 16 played minutes Fc Catanga got a freekick which was hit by Flavius Frențiu. After 18 played minutes Fc Catanga got a freekick which was hit by Flavius Frențiu. The supporters of Fc Catanga booed when CRAIOVA MAXIMA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Loghin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 25 minutes, Horaţiu Zăvoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Catanga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horaţiu Zăvoiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Remus Fința received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Eliodor Elefterescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliodor Elefterescu made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Remus Fința sent off a good shot on target. After 36 minutes of play CRAIOVA MAXIMA's Daniel Loghin was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 36 played minutes CRAIOVA MAXIMA got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Loghin. Flavius Frențiu hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Emil Urdea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CRAIOVA MAXIMA's Emil Urdea got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Emil Urdea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Remus Fința stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emil Urdea struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Ionică Cupșa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CRAIOVA MAXIMA. 56 minutes into the match, Petre Buzilă notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Fc Catanga's Ionică Cupșa. Ionică Cupșa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Remus Fința had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emil Urdea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denis Cârstea hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Petre Buzilă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Eliodor Elefterescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Remus Fința received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emil Urdea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionică Cupșa having to interfere. With a little luck, Fc Catanga's Ionică Cupșa got control of the ball when Petre Buzilă tried to sneak it across the goal line. Remus Fința struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Eliodor Elefterescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Catanga. Fc Catanga's Remus Fința got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Fc Catanga fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. CRAIOVA MAXIMA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
