The attack was good, but when Basarab Zăreanu in the 5th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 8th minute, Basarab Zăreanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 10th minute, Nicu Mitulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MONDIAL BUCURESTI's Maxim Timaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stelian Mohora in the 16th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Real Madrid's Mihai Oargă nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maxim Timaru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Martin Şerban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxim Timaru having to interfere. Martin Şerban kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 29thth minute. Though ot was a great shot MONDIAL BUCURESTI's keeper Maxim Timaru was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 34th match minute, MONDIAL BUCURESTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristi Bocu to maneuver through the defense. Martin Şerban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Martin Şerban could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Maxim Timaru made a huge save. Basarab Zăreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Codruț having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Real Madrid's Gheorghe Muscaș nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maxim Timaru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Basarab Zăreanu to strike the kick off in the second half. Basarab Zăreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Codruț having to interfere. In the 58th minute Basarab Zăreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Codruț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basarab Zăreanu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Robert Codruț 62 minutes into the match. If Basarab Zăreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Maxim Timaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stelian Mohora in the 67th minute of the match. After 69 minutes, Stelian Mohora made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. MONDIAL BUCURESTI's Maxim Timaru tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Basarab Zăreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Codruț having to interfere. After having played for 80 minutes, Basarab Zăreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MONDIAL BUCURESTI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basarab Zăreanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 82 minutes, Șerban Cretan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MONDIAL BUCURESTI and the Real Madrid players grew even worse after the yellow card. Șerban Cretan kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Basarab Zăreanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the game, Alexandru Penescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Maxim Timaru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maxim Timaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gheorghe Muscaș, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Şerban in the 90th minute of play forced MONDIAL BUCURESTI's goalkeeper Maxim Timaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 90 minutes of play, Real Madrid's Martin Şerban made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maxim Timaru was left in no man's land by his defense there! Șerban Cretan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Robert Codruț tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Real Madrid fans cheered their team off the field, for while MONDIAL BUCURESTI had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
