After 6 minutes of play, Tungujei AFC's Petre Dică made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victor Cioroianu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Fc BrAsOv's zone, Petre Dică stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Cioroianu came out of the goal and Petre Dică tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th match minute, Fc BrAsOv was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Ciociu to maneuver through the defense. Tungujei AFC's Petre Dică got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Tungujei AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Petrică Becheanu came free, but Octav Ciocoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octav Ciocoiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Cumpan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcel Cumpan scored 1-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Octav Ciocoiu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th match minute, Tungujei AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tudor Andone to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute Marcel Cumpan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octav Ciocoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petre Dică fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Cioroianu having to interfere. The supporters of Tungujei AFC booed when Fc BrAsOv was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudiu Mălin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Fc BrAsOv's Răzvan Pascariu got a free kick in the 36th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petre Dică in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victor Cioroianu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Petre Dicăs short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Victor Cioroianu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tudor Andone hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After 42 played minutes, Fc BrAsOv's Mihăiţă Mazilu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Octav Ciocoiu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fc BrAsOv reached it. If Petre Dică had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Fc BrAsOv's Petrică Becheanu got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Petre Dică took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Cioroianu. Victor Cioroianu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After 73 minutes, Claudiu Mălin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc BrAsOv and the Tungujei AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of Fc BrAsOv:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tungujei AFC:s goal. In the 83rd minute, Marcel Cumpan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emil Ciociu hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Victor Cioroianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petre Dică, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fc BrAsOv's Victor Cioroianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petre Dică in the 94th minute of play. Tungujei AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
