VfB Armin Satu Mare were furious when Tudor Papadima was red carded, 46 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 45th minute, one of VfB Armin Satu Mare:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for VfB Armin Satu Mare.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Liviu Curtean made a kick off. After a rather tough play, VfB Armin Satu Mare's Valentin Marinică got a free kick in the 55th minute. Flavius Vârjean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristide Stelian having to interfere. Cristinel Dijmărescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valeriu Răchitan, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 83 minutes into the game, Flavius Vârjean threw the ball into play from the sideline. F.C Steaua Bucuresti JR's Fabian Pâslaru quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. VfB Armin Satu Mare's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
