Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cazimir Ispas started the match with the kick off. If Cazimir Ispas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 8 minutes of play, Ulm's Doru Păunescu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filip Sticlaru was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dacian Şimoc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Filip Sticlaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iustin Agârbiceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cazimir Ispas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codrin Magherescu having to interfere. Filip Sticlaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dacian Şimoc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Nicu Bociort hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute, Doru Păunescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filip Sticlaru was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 35thth minute of the game Doru Păunescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fulga CSM's Filip Sticlaru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dinu Ghimiș made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Fulga CSM's Sergiu Săndoi. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Fulga CSM's Nicu Bociort got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dacian Şimoc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Sticlaru having to interfere. Cazimir Ispas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cazimir Ispas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th match minute, Ulm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Barascu to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Dacian Şimoc reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Filip Sticlaru. The goal made the score 0-3. If Dacian Şimoc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Doru Păunescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filip Sticlaru was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Doru Păunescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Filip Sticlaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cazimir Ispas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codrin Magherescu having to interfere. In the 93rd minute of the match, Doru Păunescu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Filip Sticlaru was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Sergiu Săndoi fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fulga CSM's protests and gave Sergiu Săndoi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ulm booed when Fulga CSM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergiu Săndoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ulm had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
