After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Marcu Văcărescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Sustiu's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcu Văcărescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Grozăvescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 23 minutes into the game, Iustin Geangu threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Sustiu's Adam Popan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mihnea Semeghin in the 39 minute of the game. The supporters of ASC Magurele booed when FC Sustiu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Bulă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mihnea Semeghin made in the 43rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Sustiu's Adam Popan. Tudor Barbăneagră fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavel Ruşdea having to interfere. The FC Sustiu players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ASC Magurele were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Doru Cazacu made a kick off. In the 56th minute of the match, Doru Cazacu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pavel Ruşdea saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 59th match minute, FC Sustiu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Bulzan to maneuver through the defense. ASC Magurele's Adrian Amuguroancei got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Sustiu's attentive Adam Popan managed to snatch the ball when Emanuel Vintilă made a throw-in in the 66th minute of the game. FC Sustiu's Adam Popan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Emanuel Vintilă, made in the 67th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcu Văcărescu in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Grozăvescu saved ASC Magurele from getting behind. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Doru Cazacu sped through FC Sustiu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pavel Ruşdea. Manuel Grozăvescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcu Văcărescu in the 76th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcu Văcărescu in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Grozăvescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Manuel Grozăvescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panait Drăgoescu in the 93rd minute of play. FC Sustiu were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after ASC Magurele's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Albert Bulzan took the corner. Marcu Văcărescu made a great header on FC Sustiu's corner, it was just that ASC Magurele's Manuel Grozăvescu managed to reach the ball for a save.
