Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sandu Negulici kicked off to start the match. Sandu Negulici fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogdan Mirea having to interfere. 10 minutes into the game, Claudiu Lăcătușu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BVB Flaming's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bucium the free kick. In the 10th match minute, BVB Flaming was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudiu Lăcătușu to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute of the match Bucium got a corner. BVB Flaming's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Doru Popa ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience was convinced that Doru Popa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferdinand Budianu was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. The Bucium fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Bucium's Mihai Cubleșan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ferdinand Budianu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Doru Popa's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. After 27 played minutes BVB Flaming got a freekick which was hit by Mugur Gane. After a rather tough play, Bucium's Mihai Cubleșan got a free kick in the 28th minute. Ferdinand Budianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihai Cubleșan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mihai Cubleșan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Budianu having to interfere. Bucium's Ionel Dăscălescu got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Iurie Ciordaș fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bucium's protests and gave Iurie Ciordaș a yellow card for diving instead. Iurie Ciordaș kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in BVB Flaming's zone, Mihai Cubleșan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferdinand Budianu came out of the goal and Mihai Cubleșan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Mihai Cubleșan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Mihai Cubleșan made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Mihai Cubleșan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Doru Popa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferdinand Budianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihai Cubleșan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iurie Ciordaș was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 57 minutes into the match. Bogdan Mirea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolae Zgîrţa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BVB Flaming's Mugur Gane got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ferdinand Budianu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihai Cubleșan in the 63rd minute of the match. Ferdinand Budianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihai Cubleșan, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Mugur Gane took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bogdan Mirea. Bogdan Mirea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Mihai Cubleșan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Ferdinand Budianu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Basarab Gheorghe during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Basarab Gheorghe hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After having played for 76 minutes, Sandu Negulici managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BVB Flaming's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandu Negulici was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dorel Călin might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bogdan Mirea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dorel Călin ran back to his position shaking his head. 90 minutes into the match, Bucium's goal looked a bit too open when Sandu Negulici came free, but Bogdan Mirea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mihai Cubleșan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gelu Ponor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The BVB Flaming support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
