Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Basarab Macovei kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Aristide Stanca notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Legiunea Olteniei's Ivan Hodorog. Ivan Hodorog was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Prandul getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Sever Melinescu hit a great ball. If Christian Reggianini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aristide Stanca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Hodorog having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Legiunea Olteniei's zone, Marian Gheban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Hodorog came out of the goal and Marian Gheban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes into the match, Basarab Macovei dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ivan Hodorog, 2-0. Basarab Macovei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivan Hodorog read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Legiunea Olteniei's goal looked a bit too open when Aristide Stanca came free, but Ivan Hodorog reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Hodorog was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Marian Gheban capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marian Gheban really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Rareș Ecobescu kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Legiunea Olteniei's Christian Reggianini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Grigore Dragoș narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 38th match minute, Prandul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sever Melinescu to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Legiunea Olteniei's Christian Reggianini tried to score from far away in the 39th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Prandul's zone, Gică Craioveanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grigore Dragoș came out of the goal and Gică Craioveanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Basarab Macovei came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Prandul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basarab Macovei couldn't finish the play.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christian Reggianini to strike the kick off in the second half. Gică Craioveanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Basarab Macovei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prandul's supporters rose to their feet, but Basarab Macovei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Hodorog breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th minute, one of Legiunea Olteniei:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Legiunea Olteniei. The referee gave Prandul a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Basarab Macovei, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Legiunea Olteniei's Ivan Hodorog. 4-0. 63 minutes into the match, Gică Craioveanu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Grigore Dragoș, 4-1. In the 75th minute, Gică Craioveanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Legiunea Olteniei fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. A collision led to Legiunea Olteniei getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Christian Reggianini hit a great ball. The referee gave Prandul a penalty, 90 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Basarab Macovei, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Legiunea Olteniei's Ivan Hodorog. 5-2. Christian Reggianini took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Grigore Dragoș. Grigore Dragoș dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-3. When the referee ended the match the Prandul players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
