With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viorel Raţiu in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihnea Codru saved Academy Football Club from getting behind. When Draculesti's Viorel Raţiu in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Academy Football Club's goalie prevented a goal. Damian Predescu hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, Viorel Raţiu made a precise shot to the right of Mihnea Codru. Academy Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Mihnea Codru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viorel Raţiu in the 15th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Academy Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Viorel Raţiu came free, but Mihnea Codru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mihnea Codru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viorel Raţiu's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. After some careless play in the Academy Football Club defense, Viorel Raţiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mihnea Codru. The Academy Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mihnea Codru should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd match minute, Academy Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Udrişte to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Viorel Raţiu sped through Academy Football Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mihnea Codru.

The wind increased when Iulian Ciuvică made the kick off in the second half. Viorel Raţiu might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mihnea Codru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Viorel Raţiu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 58th minute, Fabian Şantău hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Viorel Raţiu notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Academy Football Club's Mihnea Codru. Mihnea Codru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Viorel Raţiu might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mihnea Codru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Viorel Raţiu ran back to his position shaking his head. Mihnea Codru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mădălin Trifănucă in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Iulian Ciuvică was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Academy Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Draculesti the free kick. In the 67th minute, Iulian Ciuvică hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mădălin Trifănucă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihnea Codru having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Viorel Raţiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mihnea Codru was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. If Viorel Raţiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mihnea Codru was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Dumitru Zubaşcu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dumitru Zubaşcu really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. When Viorel Raţiu came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Draculesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viorel Raţiu couldn't finish the play. When Luca Onete fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Academy Football Club's protests and gave Luca Onete a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Academy Football Club's Luca Onete got a free kick in the 81st minute. Ilie Voiculescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niculae Săndulescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Viorel Raţiu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mihnea Codru having to make a save. If Viorel Raţiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dumitru Zubaşcu came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Draculesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dumitru Zubaşcu couldn't finish the play. The Academy Football Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Draculesti were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
