Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Fc Nirvana's Costin Iorda started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Avram Lelescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fc Nirvana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paunei the free kick. After 4 played minutes Fc Nirvana got a freekick which was hit by Avram Lelescu. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dumitru Stere during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Fc Nirvana getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Dumitru Stere hit a great ball. Petrică Ungureanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Olteanu having to interfere. The supporters of Paunei booed when Fc Nirvana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avram Lelescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Costin Iorda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Cosariu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute of the match, Șerban Anghel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Victor Cosariu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Costin Iorda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vlad Mascovescu took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adrian Olteanu. Adrian Olteanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 28 minutes into the match, Fc Nirvana's goal looked a bit too open when Vlad Mascovescu came free, but Adrian Olteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costin Iorda in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victor Cosariu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Paunei's goalkeeper Victor Cosariu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gelu Costache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Șerban Anghel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Cosariu having to interfere. After the first half Paunei were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vlad Mascovescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Irinel Lipoveanu hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. If Șerban Anghel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Șerban Anghel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Cosariu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Fc Nirvana's Dumitru Stere suffered a sore thigh after 70 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Gabriel Balțoi charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Balțoi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gabriel Balțoi hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Șerban Anghel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Victor Cosariu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Paunei's Vlad Mascovescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adrian Olteanu. That made the score 1-2 after 78 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Nirvana's zone, Vlad Mascovescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Olteanu came out of the goal and Vlad Mascovescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th minute Vlad Mascovescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Olteanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vlad Mascovescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Olteanu having to interfere.
