Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Manuel Cocea started the match with the kick off. With 6 minutes on the clock, Isac Macamete commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of Jeud UFC booed when Fc Zalău was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosmin Moga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fc Zalău's Nechifor Țepeluș got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cosmin Moga kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Nechifor Țepeluș struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Sergiu Cazan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Zalău. In the 40th minute, Manuel Cocea made a precise shot to the right of Sergiu Cazan. Jeud UFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Manuel Cocea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matei Barbonța received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Sergiu Cazan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Bernea to strike the kick off in the second half. When Costică Spineanu fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jeud UFC's protests and gave Costică Spineanu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Jeud UFC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Costică Spineanu hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by Manuel Cocea got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Jeud UFC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Mădălin Săndulescu hit a great ball. When Matei Barbonța came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Fc Zalău fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matei Barbonța couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Jeud UFC booed when Fc Zalău was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Codruț Buhuș didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sergiu Cazan came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Fc Zalău's Matei Barbonța. But to his dismay, Matei Barbonța quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Nechifor Țepeluș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Sergiu Cazan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Jeud UFC's goalkeeper Sergiu Cazan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cosmin Moga. After 67 played minutes, Jeud UFC's Mădălin Săndulescu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gelu Robu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jeud UFC reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Jeud UFC's zone, Cosmin Moga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergiu Cazan came out of the goal and Cosmin Moga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nechifor Țepeluș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergiu Cazan having to interfere. Matei Barbonța struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Sergiu Cazan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Zalău. Gelu Robu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Bernea in the 74th minute of play. Fc Zalău's Cosmin Moga got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nechifor Țepeluș recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Costică Spineanu hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Sergiu Cazan made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Matei Barbonța sent off a good shot on target. Cosmin Moga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dacian Șeitan kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the game, Fc Zalău's Matei Barbonța nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sergiu Cazan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. In the 93rd minute Nechifor Țepeluș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergiu Cazan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cosmin Moga in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergiu Cazan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fc Zalău's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
