Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) UFC Sanovita's Petru Băsescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Valer Popoacă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Bernea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gavril Chimeț scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valer Popoacă, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniel Bernea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valer Popoacă having to interfere. Gavril Chimeț received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Valer Popoacă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valer Popoacă came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Jeud UFC's Daniel Bernea. But to his dismay, Daniel Bernea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. UFC Sanovita's Valer Popoacă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Bernea in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to UFC Sanovita getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ştefan Velicu hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the game, Gavril Chimeț cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Valer Popoacă was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 31 played minutes Jeud UFC got a freekick which was hit by Costică Spineanu. In the 37th match minute, UFC Sanovita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosmin Valerian to maneuver through the defense. Valer Popoacă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavril Chimeț, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. When Valeriu Bologa fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UFC Sanovita's protests and gave Valeriu Bologa a yellow card for diving instead. If Daniel Bernea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gavril Chimeț received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Bernea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel Bernea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valer Popoacă having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Gavril Chimeț fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Valer Popoacă, passed just outside the right post. Valer Popoacă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Bernea in the 61st minute of play. If Octavian Gaiță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Daniel Bernea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valer Popoacă was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Sergiu Cazan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petru Băsescu in the 83rd minute of the match. Jeud UFC's Sergiu Cazan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petru Băsescu in the 85th minute of play. Cosmin Valerian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergiu Cazan having to interfere. Jeud UFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
