Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Remus Zogreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remus Zogreanu scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aristide Ghiță, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Soimeni CS's Aristide Ghiță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gelu Jurăscu in the 13th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remus Zogreanu got free with Aristide Ghiță in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 16 minutes of play, Soimeni CS's Ionel Nestor made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dirk Bouman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paul Musceleanu kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. FC Andrei Romania's Dirk Bouman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionică Lupoi in the 20th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Pavel Botescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dirk Bouman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionel Nestor, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Romeo Şuteu notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of FC Andrei Romania's Dirk Bouman. Dirk Bouman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dirk Bouman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionel Nestor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FC Andrei Romania getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Paul Musceleanu hit a great ball. Remus Zogreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristide Ghiță having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liviu Luțu in the 35th minute of play forced FC Andrei Romania's goalkeeper Dirk Bouman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gelu Jurăscu in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aristide Ghiță saved Soimeni CS from getting behind. Filip Costandin hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Dirk Bouman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liviu Luțu in the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionel Nestor in the 41st minute of play forced FC Andrei Romania's goalkeeper Dirk Bouman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Soimeni CS's Aristide Ghiță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gelu Jurăscu in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionel Nestor in the 46th minute of play forced FC Andrei Romania's goalkeeper Dirk Bouman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Liviu Luțu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nechifor Măliță's late challenge caught a FC Andrei Romania's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nechifor Măliță helped the player get up and apologised. 51 minutes into the game, one of Soimeni CS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Aristide Ghiță came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Andrei Romania's Paul Musceleanu. But to his dismay, Paul Musceleanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Liviu Luțu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 59th minute. Soimeni CS's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Zogreanu in the 63rd minute of play forced Soimeni CS's goalkeeper Aristide Ghiță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gelu Jurăscu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Aristide Ghiță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Romeo Şuteu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gelu Jurăscu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Aristide Ghiță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, FC Andrei Romania's Sever Brăiloiu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sever Brăiloiu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Andrei Romania protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sever Brăiloiu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Dirk Bouman had in the 84thth minute some difficulties stopping Ionică Lupoi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Filip Costandin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gelu Jurăscu came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the FC Andrei Romania fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gelu Jurăscu couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Soimeni CS's Romeo Şuteu got a free kick in the 93rd minute. If Gelu Jurăscu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gelu Jurăscu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristide Ghiță having to interfere.
