In the 10th minute, Iacob Urdăreanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th match minute, FC Fulgeru Leresti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calistrat Drăghici to maneuver through the defense. Calistrat Drăghici's late challenge caught a 11 Zanateci's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Calistrat Drăghici helped the player get up and apologised. Calistrat Drăghici hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Costică Cosariu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cătălin Tătăruşanu having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, FC Fulgeru Leresti's goal looked a bit too open when Dinu Iftode came free, but Horaţiu Oproiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, 11 Zanateci's Horaţiu Oproiu threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dinu Iftode, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. FC Fulgeru Leresti's Calistrat Drăghici got his second yellow card of the match in the 34th minute. The referee ordered Calistrat Drăghici off the ground. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mihail Malcoci got free with Horaţiu Oproiu in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 39 minutes into the match, FC Fulgeru Leresti's goal looked a bit too open when Sorin Hrean came free, but Horaţiu Oproiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Mihail Malcoci had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horaţiu Oproiu. FC Fulgeru Leresti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mihail Malcoci was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. A collision led to FC Fulgeru Leresti getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Mugurel Caramarin hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dinu Iftode was the one to do the kick off. Horaţiu Oproiu came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by 11 Zanateci's Mihail Malcoci. But to his dismay, Mihail Malcoci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 56th minute, Mihăiţă Iftode hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horaţiu Oproiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinu Iftode in the 59th minute of play. Mugurel Caramarin kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Viorel Cucerzan charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Viorel Cucerzan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Horaţiu Oproiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinu Iftode in the 69th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Dinu Iftode managed to get in a good position for a shot. 11 Zanateci's supporters rose to their feet, but Dinu Iftode was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horaţiu Oproiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Fulgeru Leresti's Horaţiu Oproiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinu Iftode in the 76th minute of play. Mihail Malcoci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Horaţiu Oproiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horaţiu Oproiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viorel Cucerzan, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 11 Zanateci's Mihail Malcoci got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Horaţiu Oproiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinu Iftode in the 87th minute of the match. A collision led to FC Fulgeru Leresti getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Mugurel Caramarin hit a great ball. Horaţiu Oproiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihail Malcoci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 Zanateci walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
