The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Ciaracio SC got a freekick which was hit by Ionică Aldulea. In the 3rd match minute, Ciaracio SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ioan Cristescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th match minute, FC Linistea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionică Chimeț to maneuver through the defense. When Ionică Aldulea came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Ciaracio SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ionică Aldulea couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Emanuel Cândea successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 27 minutes into the game, Ciaracio SC's George Cărtărescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emanuel Cândea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Augustin Cordescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristi Jucu having to interfere. Călin Cociubei struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Cristi Jucu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Linistea. George Cărtărescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Emanuel Cândea made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Emanuel Cândea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ioan Cristescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabian Lucian hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Emanuel Cândea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ioan Cristescu in the 55th minute of play. Emanuel Cândea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ioan Cristescu in the 57th minute of the match. Emanuel Cândea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Călin Cociubei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vasile Săndoi hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Augustin Cordescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Cristi Jucu made a huge save. Silviu Beligan kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Cristi Jucu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augustin Cordescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The supporters of FC Linistea booed when Ciaracio SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionică Aldulea didn't get a good kick on the ball.
