Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Aurel Crivac started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd match minute, ASA Târgu Mureș was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tudor Ghionea to maneuver through the defense. Valentin Romeo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurel Crivac in the 9th minute of play. In the 12th minute Aurel Crivac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Romeo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, ASA Târgu Mureș's goal looked a bit too open when Dinu Tufescu came free, but Bogdan Abraham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurel Crivac took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valentin Romeo. Valentin Romeo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nae Mazilu during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th minute, Nae Mazilu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ASA Târgu Mureș's İnanç Eriş got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aurel Crivac took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valentin Romeo. Valentin Romeo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Aurel Crivac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Romeo having to interfere. When Tudor Ghionea came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the ASA Târgu Mureș fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tudor Ghionea couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd minute, Aurel Crivac got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Tantarul defense, Aurel Crivac kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valentin Romeo. The Tantarul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valentin Romeo should have stopped the shot. 40 minutes into the match, İnanç Eriş had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valentin Romeo. Tantarul's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that İnanç Eriş was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Tudor Ghionea took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valentin Romeo. Valentin Romeo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sever Oprea during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 53 played minutes Tantarul got a freekick which was hit by Sever Oprea. In the 56th minute, Aurel Crivac left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ASA Târgu Mureș fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Aurel Crivac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandru Gâdea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Romeo having to interfere. Valentin Romeo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurel Crivac in the 69th minute. After having played for 73 minutes, Aurel Crivac managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ASA Târgu Mureș's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurel Crivac was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th minute, Alexandru Gâdea fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Valentin Romeo, passed just outside the right post. Aurel Crivac could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Valentin Romeo made a huge save. When Dinu Tufescu fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tantarul's protests and gave Dinu Tufescu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tantarul getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Dinu Tufescu hit a great ball. In the 84th minute, İnanç Eriş fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Valentin Romeo, passed just outside the right post. In the 85th minute, İnanç Eriş reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Valentin Romeo. The goal made the score 0-8. Aurel Crivac could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Valentin Romeo made a huge save. Valentin Romeo made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Aurel Crivac sent off a good shot on target. Aurel Crivac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Valentin Romeo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
