Bogdan Abraham was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bogdan Abraham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gelu Afloarei in the 14th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Arius club FC's goal looked a bit too open when İnanç Eriş came free, but Ionuț Floricel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Viorel Trandafir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Abraham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurel Crivac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bogdan Abraham came out of the goal and Viorel Trandafir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 39 minutes, Tudor Ghionea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ASA Târgu Mureș and the Arius club FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 played minutes ASA Târgu Mureș got a freekick which was hit by Tudor Ghionea. Bogdan Abraham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihnea Tataru in the 41st minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Arius club FC's Corneliu Bojonca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bogdan Abraham made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mihnea Tataru to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viorel Trandafir in the 59th minute of play forced ASA Târgu Mureș's goalkeeper Bogdan Abraham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, ASA Târgu Mureș's goal looked a bit too open when Gelu Afloarei came free, but Bogdan Abraham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 played minutes Arius club FC got a freekick which was hit by Barnaba Grabowicz. In the 69th minute, Aurelian Orescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tudor Ghionea was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 69th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Bogdan Abraham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viorel Trandafir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandru Gâdea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionuț Floricel having to interfere. ASA Târgu Mureș's Bogdan Abraham proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save ASA Târgu Mureș from getting a goal against them. 83 minutes into the match, ASA Târgu Mureș's goal looked a bit too open when Gelu Afloarei came free, but Bogdan Abraham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Gelu Afloarei took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Bogdan Abraham to make any attempt to save it. Gelu Afloarei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Bogdan Abraham made a huge save. The ASA Târgu Mureș fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Arius club FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
