Marin Pătrășconiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Traian Băbescu having to interfere. Claudiu Sabău hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 7th match minute, Casinul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Craia to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Sarfalva getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Iustinian Siteavu hit a great ball. A collision led to Sarfalva getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Claudiu Sabău hit a great ball. Constantin Cotoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodor Stătescu went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Radu Turcu charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radu Turcu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match had been going on for 22 minutes, Sarfalva's Iustinian Siteavu got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Traian Băbescu. Olimpiu Bulă in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Traian Băbescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Traian Băbescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Pătrășconiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 32 minutes, Olimpiu Bulă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarfalva's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olimpiu Bulă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basarab Bârlea in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Constantin Cotoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodor Stătescu in the 37th minute of play forced Sarfalva's goalkeeper Constantin Cotoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olimpiu Bulă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 40 played minutes Sarfalva got a freekick which was hit by Claudiu Sabău. Teodor Stătescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Teodor Stătescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marin Pătrășconiu made a kick off. Daniel Pârlog kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 52 minutes into the match, Sarfalva's goalkeeper Constantin Cotoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodor Stătescu. If Basarab Bârlea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Olimpiu Bulă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Casinul's Alex Craia got a free kick in the 59th minute. Teodor Stătescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Constantin Cotoi having to make a save. Casinul's Teodor Stătescu got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teodor Stătescu struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Constantin Cotoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Casinul. 73 minutes into the match, Sarfalva's goal looked a bit too open when Basarab Bârlea came free, but Constantin Cotoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basarab Bârlea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Sarfalva's Claudiu Sabău got a free kick in the 77th minute. Sarfalva's Constantin Cotoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basarab Bârlea in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Alex Craia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Casinul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sarfalva the free kick. Alex Craia hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, Aron Mihalcea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Casinul's goalkeeper Traian Băbescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Casinul booed when Sarfalva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilie Vrânceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casinul's Manuel Vrejiu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 89th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Constantin Cotoi but with some difficulty. Constantin Cotoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Craia in the 91st minute of play. Marin Pătrășconiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 96 minutes, Olimpiu Bulă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarfalva's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olimpiu Bulă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
