After having played for 3 minutes, Lucian Orghidan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ialovita CS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucian Orghidan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, FC Rockstadt's goal looked a bit too open when Lucian Orghidan came free, but Edgar Vătavu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alin Ţintă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marin Crețu kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Edgar Vătavu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alin Ţintă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bogdan Hârtopanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavian Șeicaru in the 26th minute of play. FC Rockstadt's Edgar Vătavu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucian Orghidan in the 29th minute of play. Alin Ţintă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Vătavu having to interfere. Costel Bidulescu hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Lucian Orghidan struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Edgar Vătavu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ialovita CS. 38 minutes into the match, FC Rockstadt's goal looked a bit too open when Alin Ţintă came free, but Edgar Vătavu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alin Ţintă in the 41st minute of play forced FC Rockstadt's goalkeeper Edgar Vătavu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marin Gheorghiu scored 0-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgar Vătavu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Octavian Șeicaru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Liviu Isăceanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dinu Vorniceanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bogdan Hârtopanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Bogdan Hârtopanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dinu Vorniceanu went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Liviu Onete fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ialovita CS's protests and gave Liviu Onete a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ialovita CS getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Liviu Onete hit a great ball. When Liviu Isăceanu fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Rockstadt's protests and gave Liviu Isăceanu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Rockstadt getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Liviu Isăceanu hit a great ball. Lucian Orghidan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Edgar Vătavu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dinu Vorniceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Octavian Șeicaru struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Bogdan Hârtopanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Rockstadt. If Lucian Orghidan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Liviu Isăceanu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes had been played. The supporters of Ialovita CS booed when FC Rockstadt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Liviu Isăceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute Ialovita CS were awarded a corner. Eusebiu Gherase went to the cornerflag to take it. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
