Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Grunji's Fabian Hârșu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Tatestii booed when Grunji was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corneliu Gârdan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tatestii's Claudiu Brășneanu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 4th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Alexandru Gane but with some difficulty. After a rather tough play, Grunji's Alin Barbălată got a free kick in the 6th minute. Emanuel Bunescu struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Alexandru Gane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tatestii. Alin Barbălată hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Leontin Predescu kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Aurelian Răuțchi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tatestii's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grunji the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Fabian Hârșu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grunji's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabian Hârșu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augustin Chitimia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Augustin Chitimia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Hârșu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabian Hârșu kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Alexandru Gane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Bunescu in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tatestii! Tatestii's Augustin Chitimia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matei Astafei in the 37th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dinu Elian got free with Alexandru Gane in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Bunescu in the 40th minute of play forced Grunji's goalkeeper Alexandru Gane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Bunescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandru Gane having to interfere. In the 45th minute of the match, Dinu Elian got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alexandru Gane was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 46 minutes into the match, Tatestii's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Hârșu came free, but Augustin Chitimia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandru Gane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Bunescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emanuel Bunescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Dinu Elian put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Alexandru Gane. Alexandru Gane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinu Elian, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Hârșu in the 60th minute of play forced Tatestii's goalkeeper Augustin Chitimia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandru Gane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Bunescu in the 85th minute of play. Alin Barbălată hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. When Dinu Elian came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Tatestii fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dinu Elian couldn't finish the play. Emanuel Bunescu scored 4-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexandru Gane, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
