Dragaseni were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Barcelona's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Secară took the corner. Dragaseni's Manole Zamfirescu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Stelian Cinteză in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Emanuel Dejeu got free in front of the goal in the 9th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Stelian Cinteză was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Stelian Cinteză didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Ciocan went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Filip Stana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stelian Cinteză having to interfere. Dragaseni's Emanuel Dejeu suffered a sore thigh after 24 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Gabriel Daimacă's late challenge caught a Dragaseni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabriel Daimacă helped the player get up and apologised. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Barcelona! Martin Ciocan kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Toader Tatulici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Ciocan in the 36th minute of play forced Barcelona's goalkeeper Stelian Cinteză to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stelian Cinteză made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Filip Stana sent off a good shot on target. Anton Sorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Sorin Mischie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Dragaseni booed when Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Irinel Merișor didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Dragaseni's Martin Ciocan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stelian Cinteză narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Barcelona's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Martin Ciocan scored to the left of an out of position Stelian Cinteză, making the score, 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anton Sorin to strike the kick off in the second half. Stelian Cinteză made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Ciocan in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Martin Ciocan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manole Zamfirescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Stelian Cinteză tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Ciocan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stelian Cinteză having to interfere. Aurel Mestecăneanu charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurel Mestecăneanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Barcelona getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Aurel Mestecăneanu hit a great ball. Martin Ciocan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 68 minutes into the match, Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Ciocan came free, but Stelian Cinteză reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Barcelona's Irinel Merișor got a free kick in the 70th minute. Martin Ciocan took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stelian Cinteză. Stelian Cinteză dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. The audience was convinced that Martin Ciocan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stelian Cinteză was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Stelian Cinteză took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Ciocan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin Ciocan took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stelian Cinteză. Stelian Cinteză dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Aurel Mestecăneanu was shown his second yellow card after 92 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Aurel Mestecăneanu kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Nae Stana hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Dragaseni's Sorin Mischie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Dragaseni from getting a goal against them.
