Gigel Culiță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Grigore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Badacin CSS getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Martin Iordănescu hit a great ball. Gigel Culiță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Grigore in the 10th minute of the match. After 12 minutes, Ivan Grigore made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Badacin CSS's Gigel Culiță tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Valer Mereuță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Iordănescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Manuel Petrulean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Culiță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cătălin Aldulescu during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Badacin CSS's Cătălin Aldulescu got a free kick in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the game, FC Romelinha's Ivan Grigore nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gigel Culiță made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Ivan Grigore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valer Mereuță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Ionășescu in the 33rd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, FC Romelinha's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Ionășescu came free, but Valer Mereuță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FC Romelinha getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Sever Afloarei hit a great ball. Valer Mereuță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Ionășescu in the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinu Vuia in the 37th minute of play forced Badacin CSS's goalkeeper Gigel Culiță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gigel Culiță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Petrulean, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Gigel Culiță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sever Afloarei in the 43rd minute of the match. Dinu Vuia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dinu Vuia to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, FC Romelinha's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Iordănescu came free, but Valer Mereuță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Manuel Petrulean, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 59 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Gigel Culiță was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 62 minutes of play, Badacin CSS's Cristinel Chiliman made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valer Mereuță was left in no man's land by his defense there! 73 minutes into the match, Badacin CSS's goalkeeper Gigel Culiță had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Petrulean. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Dinu Vuia sped through Badacin CSS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gigel Culiță. In the 80th minute, Manuel Petrulean fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. FC Romelinha's Valer Mereuță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Iordănescu in the 87th minute of play. Dinu Vuias short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Gigel Culiță to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
