Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sturzen's Aurel Boia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 played minutes Badacin CSS got a freekick which was hit by Martin Iordănescu. Fabian Ionășescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Mihnea Pantilimon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gigel Culiță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurel Boia in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th minute Cristinel Chiliman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihnea Pantilimon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 minutes, Sandu Istrate mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Badacin CSS and the Sturzen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sturzen's Silviu Rednic was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gigel Culiță in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Aurel Boia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Gigel Culiță skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 27 minutes into the match, Aurel Boia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gigel Culiță, 1-0. Nicodim Junilă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gigel Culiță having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurel Boia in the 35th minute of play forced Badacin CSS's goalkeeper Gigel Culiță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicodim Junilă got free with Gigel Culiță in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd minute, Sturzen's Aurel Boia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gigel Culiță. Gigel Culiță yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 47 minutes into the match, Sturzen's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Ionășescu came free, but Mihnea Pantilimon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Badacin CSS booed when Sturzen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilian Stoian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabian Ionășescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Mihnea Pantilimon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Fabian Ionășescu made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aurel Boia in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gigel Culiță prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 67th minute Aurel Boia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Culiță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sturzen's Nicodim Junilă got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 71stth minute of the game Aurel Boia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Badacin CSS's Gigel Culiță was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabian Ionășescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Mihnea Pantilimon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Badacin CSS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nicodim Junilă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gigel Culiță having to interfere.
