Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Felix Tiţe started the match with the kick off. With his leg Stelian Ispas managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Poli Iasi's Felix Tiţe fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ştefan Burghelea came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Bulgarul's Sabin Antoniu. But to his dismay, Sabin Antoniu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Bulgarul's attentive Mariano Mota managed to snatch the ball when Ciprian Moțoc made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. In the 19th minute, Leontin Iosif got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 20 played minutes Bulgarul got a freekick which was hit by Matei Lesnea. Stelian Ispas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Tiţe's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Felix Tiţe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Tiţe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stelian Ispas having to interfere. If Leontin Iosif had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stelian Ispas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Tiţe went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Felix Tiţe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stelian Ispas having to interfere. Poli Iasi's Felix Tiţe got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Bulgarul's Matei Lesnea got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 47th match minute, Bulgarul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matei Lesnea to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sabin Antoniu made a kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Poli Iasi's Basarab Galușcă made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stelian Ispas was left in no man's land by his defense there! 57 minutes into the match, Bulgarul's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Tiţe came free, but Stelian Ispas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Bulgarul getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Matei Lesnea hit a great ball. In the 60th match minute, Bulgarul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matei Lesnea to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 63 minutes, Leontin Iosif managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poli Iasi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leontin Iosif was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matei Lesnea hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the match, Bulgarul's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Tiţe came free, but Stelian Ispas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Sabin Antoniu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Ştefan Burghelea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Stelian Ispas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Tiţe in the 77th minute of play. Basarab Galușcă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 82 played minutes Bulgarul got a freekick which was hit by Matei Lesnea. In the 85th minute, Felix Tiţe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Poli Iasi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Felix Tiţe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Stelian Ispas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emil Vaida's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stelian Ispas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sabin Antoniu in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ştefan Burghelea prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
