An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Pordea in the 15th minute of play forced Beta's goalkeeper Denis Tudor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudiu Gănescu got free with Mihai Brânzaru in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Dichiseni's Mihai Brânzaru got control of the ball when Claudiu Gănescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Călin Bărbânță shot a long shot in the 29th minute and a light blocked Mihai Brânzaru hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 1-1. If Ciprian Udrişte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anton Mailat stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Beta's goalkeeper Denis Tudor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marian Pordea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Tudor having to interfere. Ciprian Udrişte blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Denis Tudor having to make a save. Anton Mailat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudiu Gănescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mihai Brânzaru having to make a save. Mihai Brânzaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Mailat, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anton Mailat in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihai Brânzaru saved Dichiseni from getting behind. Octavian Aplugăriței was shown his second yellow card after 73 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After some careless play in the Dichiseni defense, Anton Mailat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mihai Brânzaru. The Dichiseni fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mihai Brânzaru should have stopped the shot. Mihai Brânzaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Mailat in the 87th minute of the match. Beta's Anton Mailat managed to work through Dichiseni's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Anton Mailat dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Beta had played much better football throughout.
