In the 42nd match minute, Cursaru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vintilă Pâslaru to maneuver through the defense. Cursaru's Emil Ivan got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th match minute, MD2020 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiberiu Răducu to maneuver through the defense. After 60 played minutes MD2020 got a freekick which was hit by Flavius Geamănu. Octavian Buta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codrin Angheluță in the 66th minute of the match. If Codrin Angheluță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Cursaru booed when MD2020 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Codrin Angheluță didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Flavius Geamănu fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MD2020's protests and gave Flavius Geamănu a yellow card for diving instead. 76 minutes into the match, Cursaru's goal looked a bit too open when Codrin Angheluță came free, but Octavian Buta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emil Ivan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Damian Dorian made a huge save. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
