Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gigel Petcu made the kick off which started today's match. Traian Drăgănoiu came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Varastii AS's Mihail Lupeanu. But to his dismay, Mihail Lupeanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Mihail Lupeanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Traian Drăgănoiu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. After having played for 9 minutes, Mihail Lupeanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Varastii AS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihail Lupeanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Cernatesti's goal looked a bit too open when Mihail Lupeanu came free, but Traian Drăgănoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mihail Lupeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Traian Drăgănoiu having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stelian Ruşdea during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Stelian Ruşdea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Cernatesti's Valeriu Vătavu got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Gigel Petcu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Dan Guguianu made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Dan Guguianu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Traian Drăgănoiu. The goal made the score 0-2. After 58 minutes of play, Cernatesti's Gigel Petcu made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dan Panaite was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mihail Lupeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Traian Drăgănoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gigel Petcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Stelian Ruşdea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Panaite having to interfere. Dan Guguianu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Traian Drăgănoiu having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Mihail Lupeanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Varastii AS's supporters rose to their feet, but Mihail Lupeanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Traian Drăgănoiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
