The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Iulian Neghină shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Panaite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 5 minutes Varastii AS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alexandru Crâșmaru who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Alexandru Crâșmaru almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Varastii AS's Dan Panaite did a great save. When Luca Ţugui came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Antonesti CSS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luca Ţugui couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Luca Ţugui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Antonesti CSS's supporters rose to their feet, but Luca Ţugui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dan Panaite breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luca Ţugui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Luca Ţugui's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dan Panaite was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Iulian Neghină fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Panaite having to interfere. In the 29thth minute of the game Luca Ţugui who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Varastii AS's Dan Panaite was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Iulian Neghină had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dan Guguianu to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Antonesti CSS's Mihail Humă got a free kick in the 52nd minute. The audience was convinced that Luca Ţugui's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dan Panaite was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Dan Panaite stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luca Ţugui's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. The audience was convinced that Luca Ţugui's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dan Panaite was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Iulian Neghină recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 0-3 became the score in the 85th minute when Luca Ţugui elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luca Ţugui in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dan Panaite prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luca Ţugui who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Dan Panaite when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Antonesti CSS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
