Mucheni UFC's Gelu Zafiu got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 4 played minutes Cernatesti got a freekick which was hit by Valeriu Vătavu. Gelu Zafiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 17th minute, Gigel Petcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Cernatesti's goalkeeper Traian Drăgănoiu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gelu Zafiu in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Cernatesti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mucheni UFC the free kick. In the 56th match minute, Cernatesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Zub to maneuver through the defense. Traian Drăgănoiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gelu Zafiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gelu Zafiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gelu Zafiu succeeded in the game's 83rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 7-0. Traian Drăgănoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gelu Zafiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Mucheni UFC's Gelu Zafiu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Traian Drăgănoiu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Traian Drăgănoiu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sergiu Tăcutu's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. There was no doubt that Mucheni UFC were the better team. Mucheni UFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
