Spectators: 26 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 0, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Filip Drăghincescu made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpected shot in the 3rd minute by Aron Socoriceanu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Iustin Sandu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Universitatea Cluj's zone, Filip Drăghincescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorin Cubleșan came out of the goal and Filip Drăghincescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albert Dobrescu hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. If Petruț Manea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 12th minute Petruț Manea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorin Cubleșan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustin Sandu in the 18th minute of play forced Buzd's goalkeeper Tudor Amărculesei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Petruț Manea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buzd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. Universitatea Cluj the free kick. Petruț Manea hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. When Buzd's Filip Drăghincescu in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C. Universitatea Cluj's goalie prevented a goal. Dorin Cubleșan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Zdraşcu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petruț Manea might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dorin Cubleșan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Petruț Manea ran back to his position shaking his head. 31 minutes into the match, F.C. Universitatea Cluj's goal looked a bit too open when Petruț Manea came free, but Dorin Cubleșan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Buzd's Tudor Amărculesei got control of the ball when Albert Dobrescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 36th minute, F.C. Universitatea Cluj's Iustin Sandu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tudor Amărculesei. Tudor Amărculesei yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Filip Drăghincescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Petruț Manea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dorin Cubleșan was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iustin Sandu was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filip Drăghincescu in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dorin Cubleșan saved F.C. Universitatea Cluj from getting behind. In the 59th minute, Buzd's Filip Drăghincescu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dorin Cubleșan. Dorin Cubleșan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. When Buzd's Filip Drăghincescu in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C. Universitatea Cluj's goalie prevented a goal. F.C. Universitatea Cluj's Dorin Cubleșan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Drăghincescu in the 66th minute of play. The supporters of Buzd booed when F.C. Universitatea Cluj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aron Socoriceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 71 played minutes F.C. Universitatea Cluj got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Trif. Tudor Amărculesei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iustin Sandu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Călin Chiriloaie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tudor Amărculesei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustin Sandu in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustin Sandu in the 82nd minute of play forced Buzd's goalkeeper Tudor Amărculesei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Călin Chiriloaie who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Dorin Cubleșan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. F.C. Universitatea Cluj's Dorin Cubleșan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Drăghincescu in the 88th minute of play. Mugurel Bobocea struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Dorin Cubleșan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buzd. Dorin Cubleșan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugurel Bobocea in the 91st minute of the match. Petruț Manea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Dorin Cubleșan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dorin Cubleșan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petruț Manea in the 94th minute of the match. A collision led to F.C. Universitatea Cluj getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Florin Ţirpescu hit a great ball. In the 96thth minute of the game Filip Drăghincescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C. Universitatea Cluj's Dorin Cubleșan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
