Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alfonz Herczegh took the kick off in the first half of the match. Petruț Nicolcioiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Călin Gorgan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Milo Janjić hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. If Alfonz Herczegh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Alfonz Herczegh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Retita's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfonz Herczegh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Popoacă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Milo Janjić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Ivan Popoacă made a huge save. Petruț Nicolcioiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute of the match Adrian Ilie sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivan Popoacă skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, Chelis FC's Ivan Popoacă got control of the ball when Herbert Nowak tried to sneak it across the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Chelis FC's goalkeeper Ivan Popoacă had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfonz Herczegh. Călin Gorgan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petruț Nicolcioiu in the 41st minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Retita's 严岩勇 got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfonz Herczegh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 57 minutes, Felix Bogdănescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Retita and the Chelis FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th match minute, Retita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Bogdănescu to maneuver through the defense. If Călin Ortacu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chelis FC's Ivan Popoacă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonz Herczegh in the 64th minute of play. When Milo Janjić came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Retita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milo Janjić couldn't finish the play. Alfonz Herczegh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivan Popoacă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Retita's Gelu Zbârlea got a free kick in the 70th minute. Chelis FC's Sever Răduțu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 71st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Călin Gorgan but with some difficulty. Alfonz Herczegh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Retita booed when Chelis FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vlad Cârțan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gelu Zbârlea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonz Herczegh might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Popoacă. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfonz Herczegh ran back to his position shaking his head. Gelu Zbârlea scored 1-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Popoacă, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th match minute, Retita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasile Dudea to maneuver through the defense. Gelu Zbârlea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivan Popoacă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gelu Zbârlea in the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Retita players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
