But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emil Preda couldn't finish the play. Sergiu Iuga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Viorel Mihele went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Sergiu Iuga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viorel Mihele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC REAL UNIREA's Sergiu Iuga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iacob Grădinaru in the 23rd minute of play. Calistrat Cernescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emil Preda in the 24th minute. When Iacob Grădinaru came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Sapinta FC fans jumped to their feet. In the 34thth minute of the game Herman Stephansson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sapinta FC's Calistrat Cernescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sergiu Iuga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iacob Grădinaru in the 36th minute of the match. FC REAL UNIREA's Sergiu Iuga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save FC REAL UNIREA from getting a goal against them. Emil Stoicănescu succeeded in the game's 81st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. 85 minutes into the match, FC REAL UNIREA's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Ghionaru came free, but Sergiu Iuga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Sapinta FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sapinta FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
