Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sapinta FC's Viorel Mihele started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Iacob Grădinaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iacob Grădinaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rareș Vulpescu having to interfere. When Iacob Grădinaru came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Sapinta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iacob Grădinaru couldn't finish the play. Viorel Mihele received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Rareș Vulpescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute of the game Emil Stoicănescu made a throw-in which Gabriel Ghionaru played forward. Rareș Vulpescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iacob Grădinaru in the 24th minute of the match. In the 28th match minute, Sapinta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionică Brășneanu to maneuver through the defense. Iacob Grădinaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Sapinta FC's Viorel Mihele sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rareș Vulpescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Iacob Grădinaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Rareș Vulpescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marin Hodorog fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hamagia SC's protests and gave Marin Hodorog a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Hamagia SC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Marin Hodorog hit a great ball. Sapinta FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Horea Birișu 40 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Horea Birișu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A sloppy throw-in by Cosmin Şchiopu in the 45th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Hamagia SC's Matei Petru. After 47 minutes, Marin Hodorog made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sapinta FC's Calistrat Cernescu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Horea Birișu to strike the kick off in the second half. Calistrat Cernescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Hodorog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Viorel Mihele came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Sapinta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viorel Mihele couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, Sapinta FC's Rareș Vulpescu threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Viorel Mihele, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rareș Vulpescu made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Iacob Grădinaru sent off a good shot on target. Viorel Mihele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rareș Vulpescu having to interfere. Flavius Cantemir struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Rareș Vulpescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sapinta FC. Calistrat Cernescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Hodorog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marin Hodorog scored 3-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Calistrat Cernescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viorel Mihele in the 87th minute of play forced Hamagia SC's goalkeeper Rareș Vulpescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hamagia SC's Rareș Vulpescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Hamagia SC from getting a goal against them. In the 90thth minute of the game Viorel Mihele who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hamagia SC's Rareș Vulpescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Iacob Grădinaru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Rareș Vulpescu made a huge save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sapinta FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hamagia SC.
