Dirja FC's Gabriel Paraschivescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Dirja FC from getting a goal against them. Iulian Costandin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Călin Scutaru in the 19th minute of the match. Leonard Macovei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petruț Ivăncioiu scored 0-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iulian Costandin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Viorel Cioculescu thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Gabriel Paraschivescu, a very annoying self made goal in the 53rd minute which led to 1-1. Marian Muja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Paraschivescu having to interfere. Petruț Ivăncioiu kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Marian Muja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cermeiu AC's Cazimir Lițu got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gabriel Paraschivescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cazimir Lițu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 82 minutes of play, Dirja FC's Călin Scutaru made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iulian Costandin was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Muja in the 86th minute of play forced Dirja FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Paraschivescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cazimir Lițu in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabriel Paraschivescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
