Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mihăiţă Caramarin started the match with the kick off. Mihăiţă Caramarin struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Gunnar Fredriksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ilteu CSM. Mihăiţă Caramarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With his leg Gunnar Fredriksson managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Ilteu CSM's Gigel Leu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 7 minutes, Iulian Papaiani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dataseni UFC and the Ilteu CSM players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ilteu CSM booed when Dataseni UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iulian Papaiani didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Ilteu CSM's Emanuel Volosin tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Dataseni UFC's zone, Eduard Isaia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gunnar Fredriksson came out of the goal and Eduard Isaia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mihăiţă Caramarin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Fredriksson having to interfere. If Laurențiu Unchiaşu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mihăiţă Caramarins short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Gunnar Fredriksson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Ilteu CSM's Eduard Isaia got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 38th minute, Traian Coșereanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Eduard Isaia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mihăiţă Caramarin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 40th minute. Ilteu CSM's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The audience was convinced that Doru Oncu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicolae Moți was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Laurențiu Unchiaşu to strike the kick off in the second half. Dataseni UFC's Gunnar Fredriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigel Leu in the 51st minute of play. Ilteu CSM's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emanuel Volosin in the 53rd minute. Emanuel Volosin made a great header on Ilteu CSM's corner, it was just that Dataseni UFC's Gunnar Fredriksson managed to reach the ball for a save. Mihăiţă Caramarin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Fredriksson having to interfere. Doru Oncu in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nicolae Moți, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 60 minutes into the match, Ilteu CSM's goal looked a bit too open when Laurențiu Unchiaşu came free, but Nicolae Moți reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Laurențiu Unchiaşu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicolae Moți. Ilteu CSM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laurențiu Unchiaşu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Laurențiu Unchiaşu took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Nicolae Moți to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurențiu Unchiaşu in the 65th minute of play forced Ilteu CSM's goalkeeper Nicolae Moți to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihăiţă Caramarin in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gunnar Fredriksson saved Dataseni UFC from getting behind. Mihăiţă Caramarin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Fredriksson having to interfere. Gigel Leu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Gunnar Fredriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Dataseni UFC's Traian Coșereanu got a free kick in the 87th minute. Ilteu CSM's Mihăiţă Caramarin got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gunnar Fredriksson came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Ilteu CSM's Eduard Isaia. But to his dismay, Eduard Isaia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Mihăiţă Caramarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Ilteu CSM manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Dataseni UFC to win.
