Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Laurențiu Unchiaşu started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Călin Chițac made a precise shot to the right of Gunnar Fredriksson. Dataseni UFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind gNet FC's goalkeeper Florin Răcănel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Laurențiu Unchiaşu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Florin Răcănel made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Doru Oncu sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laurențiu Unchiaşu in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florin Răcănel saved gNet FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, gNet FC's Calistrat Corlățean got a free kick in the 13th minute. If Matei Roșeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 23 in the game by Doru Oncu from a close distance when the talented Florin Răcănel managed to make a qualified save. gNet FC's players were relieved. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dataseni UFC's goalkeeper Gunnar Fredriksson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Calistrat Corlățean kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Doru Oncu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, gNet FC's goalkeeper Florin Răcănel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Doru Oncu. With a little luck, gNet FC's Florin Răcănel got control of the ball when Doru Oncu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Matei Roșeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Gunnar Fredriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florin Răcănel was a little too slow when Laurențiu Unchiaşu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 48th minute. The score was now 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Călin Chițac was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in gNet FC's zone, Laurențiu Unchiaşu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florin Răcănel came out of the goal and Laurențiu Unchiaşu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Doru Oncu might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florin Răcănel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Doru Oncu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 56th minute of the match Stefan Engman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Florin Răcănel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Laurențiu Unchiaşu might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florin Răcănel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laurențiu Unchiaşu ran back to his position shaking his head. Matei Roșeanu struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Gunnar Fredriksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for gNet FC. After a rather tough play, gNet FC's David Ionaș got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Florin Răcănel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doru Oncu in the 73rd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, Dataseni UFC's Laurențiu Unchiaşu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Florin Răcănel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 80th minute Doru Oncu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florin Răcănel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florin Răcănel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurențiu Unchiaşu in the 85th minute of play. In the 88th match minute, gNet FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petruț Micu to maneuver through the defense. When Laurențiu Unchiaşu came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Dataseni UFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laurențiu Unchiaşu couldn't finish the play. If Laurențiu Unchiaşu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dataseni UFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while gNet FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
