The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ion Cămărășan during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Quantum Club! 9 minutes into the match, Quantum Club's Horia Chiriță sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iulian Onuț narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Manuel Ţintea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iulian Onuț having to make a save. Horia Chiriță struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Iulian Onuț didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quantum Club. After some careless play in the Quantum Club defense, Vali Deșliu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gelu Dabija. The Quantum Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gelu Dabija should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vali Deșliu in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gelu Dabija prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Cristi Pricop's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gelu Dabija was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Vali Deșliu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 32 minutes, Cristi Pricop managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Turzun AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristi Pricop was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ionică Rada fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quantum Club's protests and gave Ionică Rada a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Quantum Club getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Ionică Rada hit a great ball. The Turzun AFC fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Turzun AFC's Vali Deșliu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half Turzun AFC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Gelu Dabija showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristi Pricop, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Horia Chiriță managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quantum Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Horia Chiriță was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iulian Onuț breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Horia Chiriță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Iulian Surdu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Gelu Dabija tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristi Pricop sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quantum Club's goalkeeper Gelu Dabija, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Lucrețiu Bocșan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes into the match, Eusebiu Vârșan sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Gelu Dabija threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Eusebiu Vârșan this time. The Turzun AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
