Mihail Pancu charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mihail Pancu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th match minute, Vlasia AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihail Pancu to maneuver through the defense. Laurențiu Ailioaiei didn't quite understand what happened when in the 15 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. 18 minutes into the game, Ceahlaul FC's Petre Ştefulescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dan Gheban made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ceahlaul FC's Eusebiu Plopșor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Ceahlaul FC from getting a goal against them. If Laurențiu Ailioaiei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Laurențiu Ailioaiei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute Petre Ştefulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Gheban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Vlasia AC booed when Ceahlaul FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurențiu Ailioaiei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliodor Gorcea struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Eusebiu Plopșor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vlasia AC.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romeo Ciocâlteu was the one to do the kick off. When Gheorghe Roşca came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Vlasia AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gheorghe Roşca couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gheorghe Roşca in the 58th minute of play forced Ceahlaul FC's goalkeeper Eusebiu Plopșor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eusebiu Plopșor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dacian Hârțan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ceahlaul FC's Petre Ştefulescu got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Vlasia AC's Felix Petrean got a free kick in the 67th minute. Eusebiu Plopșor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliodor Gorcea in the 71st minute of the match. Petre Ştefulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Gheban having to interfere. If Gheorghe Roşca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ceahlaul FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 85th minute. Penalty! Ceahlaul FC's Eusebiu Plopșor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliodor Gorcea in the 92nd minute of play. Eusebiu Plopșor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliodor Gorcea in the 93rd minute of play. Dan Gheban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurențiu Ailioaiei in the 96th minute of the match. Gheorghe Roşca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eusebiu Plopșor having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliodor Gorcea in the 98th minute of play forced Ceahlaul FC's goalkeeper Eusebiu Plopșor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
