In the 5th minute of the match Edgar Cutean sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Papadima skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 6 minutes, Pompiliu Stamate managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glogovet's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pompiliu Stamate was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicu Bobeanu hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 11th match minute, Uzlina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicu Bobeanu to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Papadima stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pompiliu Stamate's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. In the 16thth minute of the game Iurie Hosu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uzlina's Manuel Papadima was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vlad Blejan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horaţiu Horia in the 18th minute. Horaţiu Horia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Vlad Blejan made a huge save. Gelu Costescu kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Iurie Hosu made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Papadima. Uzlina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Iurie Hosu came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Glogovet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iurie Hosu couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the match, Uzlina's goal looked a bit too open when Pompiliu Stamate came free, but Manuel Papadima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nechifor Bădilescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Manuel Papadima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glogovet's Pompiliu Stamate got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pompiliu Stamate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Manuel Papadima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Glogovet fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! Vlad Blejan had in the 44thth minute some difficulties stopping Mihail Coșmeanu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball 44 minutes into the game, Mihail Coșmeanu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vlad Blejan. Mihail Coșmeanu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The audience was convinced that Iurie Hosu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Papadima was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Codruț Joja made the kick off in the second half. If Pompiliu Stamate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the match, Uzlina's goal looked a bit too open when Iurie Hosu came free, but Manuel Papadima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Glogovet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionuț Bocu to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Glogovet's Iurie Hosu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Manuel Papadima. Manuel Papadima yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Horaţiu Horia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pompiliu Stamates short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Manuel Papadima to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Iurie Hosu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Papadima having to interfere. Manuel Papadima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iurie Hosu in the 81st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pompiliu Stamate got free with Manuel Papadima in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Uzlina's Mădălin Axinia got a free kick in the 85th minute. Codruț Joja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vlad Blejan having to interfere.
