Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Costel Potra started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Mircea Scorţea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costel Potra in the 4th minute of the match. After 8 played minutes Mezocsavas got a freekick which was hit by Ionel Crainic. After a rather tough play, Mezocsavas's Nicodim Pistol got a free kick in the 10th minute. Gabriel Beșliu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mircea Scorţea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Costel Potra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Beșliu during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cicanesti CF's Gabriel Beșliu got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, Sebastian Cărtărescu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cicanesti CF's Aurel Iliuță didn't even have to move. Ionel Crainic might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aurel Iliuță. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ionel Crainic ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 22nd minute, Șerban Ionițoiu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mircea Scorţea was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Cezar Ghelmegean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Cărtărescu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aurel Iliuță came out and tried to block the shot, but Sebastian Cărtărescu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 30th minute. After 33 minutes of play, Cicanesti CF's Costel Potra made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mircea Scorţea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mircea Scorţea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Șerban Ionițoiu in the 44th minute of the match. After the first half Cicanesti CF were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ionel Crainic stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sorin Craia charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sorin Craia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sebastian Cărtărescu, 55 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Cezar Ghelmegean hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mircea Aurelianu during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mezocsavas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! Mezocsavas:s Mircea Scorţea showed great skill when he stopped Gabriel Beșliu:s penalty. 69 minutes into the game, Cicanesti CF's Gabriel Beșliu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mircea Scorţea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Mircea Scorţea made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Șerban Ionițoiu sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Mezocsavas getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Eduard Lucescu hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionel Crainic in the 83rd minute of play forced Cicanesti CF's goalkeeper Aurel Iliuță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cicanesti CF's Aurel Iliuță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Cărtărescu in the 85th minute of play. Mugurel Zmărăndescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Mircea Scorţea made a huge save. Sebastian Cărtărescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurel Iliuță having to interfere. Șerban Ionițoiu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mircea Scorţea firmly grabbed it by the left post. The Mezocsavas supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cicanesti CF's performance. The match ended with a win for Cicanesti CF.
