Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Horaţiu Istodor made the kick off and thus started the match. If Horaţiu Istodor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Verzeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horaţiu Istodor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mihaieni's Horaţiu Istodor got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Bumbesti's zone, Horaţiu Istodor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Verzeanu came out of the goal and Horaţiu Istodor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Bumbesti's Emanuel Băncilă slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lucian Dersidan. That made the score 1-0 after 25 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horaţiu Istodor in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Verzeanu saved Bumbesti from getting behind. Manuel Verzeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihnea Chiriacescu in the 38th minute of play. The supporters of Mihaieni booed when Bumbesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Fința didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Bumbesti's goal looked a bit too open when Horaţiu Istodor came free, but Manuel Verzeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 played minutes Mihaieni got a freekick which was hit by Horaţiu Istodor. 47 minutes into the game, Emanuel Drăgan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bumbesti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mihaieni the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horaţiu Istodor in the 48th minute of play forced Bumbesti's goalkeeper Manuel Verzeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bogdan Ivașcu to strike the kick off in the second half. Manuel Verzeanu came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mihaieni's Iordache Cândrea. But to his dismay, Iordache Cândrea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Horaţiu Istodor had several of the Bumbesti's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 55 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Manuel Verzeanu as he didn't even see the shot coming. Mihnea Chiriacescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Manuel Verzeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 61 minutes, Mihnea Chiriacescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mihaieni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihnea Chiriacescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horaţiu Istodor in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Verzeanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Doru Nicolcioiu kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Robert Mustață, 68 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Mihaieni's Horaţiu Istodor in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Bumbesti's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Horaţiu Istodor scored to the left of an out of position Manuel Verzeanu, making the score, 1-4. Iustin Suşu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Verzeanu having to interfere.
