Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) -PSC- Balaci FC's Cristinel Tărbac started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Iustin Arbore came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Sohatul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iustin Arbore couldn't finish the play. Iustin Arbore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelian Chiriacescu having to interfere. Aurelian Chiriacescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihăiţă Gavrilescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristinel Tărbac took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niculae Hurezan. Niculae Hurezan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Costin Todoran hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Horea Bot had several of the -PSC- Balaci FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 24 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Aurelian Chiriacescu as he didn't even see the shot coming. Iustin Arbore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelian Chiriacescu having to interfere. Costin Todoran kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Iustin Arbore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 played minutes, Sohatul's David Muraru shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aurelian Chiriacescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sohatul reached it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iustin Arbore stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee gave Sohatul a penalty, 53 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by David Muraru, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of -PSC- Balaci FC's Aurelian Chiriacescu. 2-1. In the 60th minute Iustin Arbore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelian Chiriacescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horea Bot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Aurelian Chiriacescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mihăiţă Gavrilescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelian Chiriacescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Iustin Arbore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Aurel Dulgherescu fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored -PSC- Balaci FC's protests and gave Aurel Dulgherescu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, -PSC- Balaci FC's Aurel Dulgherescu got a free kick in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the match, -PSC- Balaci FC's goal looked a bit too open when Horea Bot came free, but Aurelian Chiriacescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horea Bot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelian Chiriacescu having to interfere. Iustin Arbore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Aurelian Chiriacescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Sohatul booed when -PSC- Balaci FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costin Todoran didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Iustin Arbore came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Sohatul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iustin Arbore couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Horea Bot put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Aurelian Chiriacescu. After 90 played minutes, -PSC- Balaci FC's Laurențiu Vişoianu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Niculae Hurezan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in -PSC- Balaci FC reached it. Sohatul walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
