Toader Şimoc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iustin Negură's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the game, Tunel CF's Iustin Negură nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Toader Şimoc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Tunel CF's Leonard Posteucă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Bogdan in the 8th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iustin Negură in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Toader Şimoc saved Oltina UFC from getting behind. Eugen Verzea's late challenge caught a Tunel CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugen Verzea helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th match minute, Oltina UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugen Verzea to maneuver through the defense. Toader Şimoc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iustin Negură, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicu Mardarescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Posteucă having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Nicodim Ielciu sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Toader Şimoc threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Nicodim Ielciu this time. Nicu Mardarescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andrei Moscu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Oltina UFC booed when Tunel CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marius Vulcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th match minute, Oltina UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristi Popescu to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iustin Negură to make the kick off. Cristi Popescu got his second yellow card in the match during the 51st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 51st match minute, Oltina UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristi Popescu to maneuver through the defense. Iustin Negură might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Toader Şimoc. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iustin Negură ran back to his position shaking his head. Toader Şimoc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustin Negură in the 59th minute of the match. Andrei Moscu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicu Mardarescu hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Toader Şimoc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrei Moscu's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. If Andrei Moscu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the game, Iustin Negură cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Toader Şimoc was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Toader Şimoc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrei Moscu in the 79th minute of the match. When Octavian Braia came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Oltina UFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octavian Braia couldn't finish the play. Toader Şimoc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustin Negură in the 87th minute of play. After 90 played minutes Oltina UFC got a freekick which was hit by Octavian Braia. Florin Sântimbrean, 91 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Tunel CF's Iustin Negură sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Toader Şimoc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tunel CF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
