Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Octavian Hurmuz started the match with the kick off. In the 9th minute, Cosmin Stănculescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Maidan AC's goal looked a bit too open when Octavian Hurmuz came free, but Alin Enescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dorin Ciompec charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dorin Ciompec the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Maidan AC's Dorin Ciompec got a free kick in the 15th minute. If Octavian Hurmuz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Octavian Hurmuz came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Ursi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octavian Hurmuz couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Maidan AC's goalkeeper Alin Enescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Moise Dudea's late challenge caught a Ursi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moise Dudea helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 played minutes Maidan AC got a freekick which was hit by Moise Dudea. Alin Enescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavian Hurmuz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Maidan AC's goalkeeper Alin Enescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tudor Zglimbea. In the 37th play minute Octavian Hurmuz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alin Enescu. 1-0. Ion Bouleanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Buciuceanu having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Octavian Hurmuz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
Ursi's Tudor Zglimbea got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maidan AC's goalkeeper Alin Enescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Maidan AC's zone, Octavian Hurmuz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alin Enescu came out of the goal and Octavian Hurmuz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the match, Maidan AC's goal looked a bit too open when Octavian Hurmuz came free, but Alin Enescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alin Enescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tudor Zglimbea in the 64th minute of play. Iulian Mustață charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iulian Mustață the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th minute, Iulian Mustață hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Maidan AC! Valeriu Iorgu walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Ion Bouleanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Buciuceanu having to interfere. Aron Buciuceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ion Bouleanu in the 83rd minute of the match. The supporters of Maidan AC booed when Ursi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iulian Mustață didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Cosmin Stănculescu notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ursi's Aron Buciuceanu. Aron Buciuceanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alin Enescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Octavian Hurmuz's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. 2-1 became the score in the 90th minute when Octavian Hurmuz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Aron Buciuceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ion Bouleanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When Sandu Buda came up free with the goalie in the 100th minute, the Maidan AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandu Buda couldn't finish the play. Ursi were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Maidan AC for a fine match.
