Eusebiu Enciu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Moise Pârcălab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute Sabin Vrabie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moise Pârcălab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Constantin Griguță who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Gică Cârlan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sabin Vrabie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Corneliu Lăcătușu got free with Moise Pârcălab in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. gura rosie's Moise Pârcălab proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save gura rosie from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Gheghie's zone, Constantin Griguță stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gică Cârlan came out of the goal and Constantin Griguță tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Gheghie's Leontin Tadici got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 70th minute of the match, Sabin Vrabie tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Moise Pârcălab saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the Gheghie defense, Costin Penescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gică Cârlan. The Gheghie fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gică Cârlan should have stopped the shot. In the 85th minute Sabin Vrabie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moise Pârcălab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moise Pârcălab made an important save on a dangerous shot by Corneliu Lăcătușu in the 86th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costin Penescu in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gică Cârlan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gheghie players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for gura rosie.
