Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ştefan Lucaci kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Ştefan Călinescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcel Voinea. Cotenesti FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ştefan Călinescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 6 played minutes Lehliu got a freekick which was hit by Aristide Daraban. Ştefan Călinescu scored 2-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcel Voinea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Lehliu getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Horia Turcescu hit a great ball. Călin Berbec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Lovinescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Leonard Lovinescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cotenesti FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Alexandru Bejan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Marcel Voinea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcel Voinea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toader Muncelean in the 28th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Alexandru Geangu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ion Militaru during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ion Militaru hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Marcel Voinea made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Ştefan Călinescu sent off a good shot on target. When Anton Barbăroșie in the 38th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Marcel Voinea kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 5-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. In the 41st match minute, Lehliu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandru Geangu to maneuver through the defense. Anton Barbăroșie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anton Barbăroșie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcel Voinea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ştefan Călinescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 54 minutes of play, Lehliu's Ştefan Călinescu made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcel Voinea was left in no man's land by his defense there! 58 minutes into the match, Cotenesti FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ştefan Călinescu came free, but Marcel Voinea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcel Voinea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ştefan Călinescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Marcel Voinea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anton Barbăroșie went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. Marcel Voinea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Barbăroșie in the 68th minute of play. When Alexandru Bejan came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Lehliu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandru Bejan couldn't finish the play. After 80 minutes, Anton Barbăroșie made it 9-2 with a short kick to the right side. Cotenesti FC's Marcel Voinea tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ştefan Călinescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Marcel Voinea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, Lehliu's Ştefan Călinescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcel Voinea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-2. After 91 played minutes Lehliu got a freekick which was hit by Anton Barbăroșie. Călin Berbec was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gavril Hreapcă. Marcel Voinea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anton Barbăroșie's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. When the referee ended the match the Lehliu players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
